Beautiful Sunny Riverfront Home with Pool, near Famous Beaches and Orlando Entertainment Parks. Lovely, large backyard for relaxing and enjoying the sun and fresh air. We also have a home in the Pyrenees-Oriental, France, so a non-simultaneous exchange?
This is an older remodeled Florida Style 3 bedroom home with 2 baths. It is a marvelous open plan, feeling spacious and light, with tile floors. All on one level, the front picture windows look out onto the peaceful Halifax River, which is part of our Inter-coastal Waterway. Facing east, the sun comes up over the beach community across the water, for majestic sunrises. A beautiful linear walking park allows for a morning stroll along the river, to watch dolphin pods and manatees perhaps. The lush backyard has a private concrete pool for your use. Or the pristine white sand beaches are just across the bridges, with Famous Daytona, a beach that you can drive on, where we have a studio condominium unit which may be available.
Our gourmet kitchen with gas cook-top and stainless steel appliances and the creative cooking appliances you might need, including espresso machine, are all within your reach...but with so many wonderful fresh seafood restaurants all about, you might not even think of cooking!
The master bedroom has a memory-foam king bed, and a shares a bath with the second bedroom, which has a pillow-top queen-sized bed. The small third bedroom, on the opposite end of the house, has a single daybed for sleeping 2 and adjoins the shower/lav, with a laundry and access to the backyard/pool. (Some of the photos show our older furniture arrangement, but we promise the new layout works better!)
We have nice original artwork and some unique pieces of furniture that we have collected through the years, but the overall effect is one of casual comfort, as we live in one of the vacation capitals of the world.
We also have a studio Beach Apartment on the Ocean which may be available for non-simultaneous exchange.

Heimilið er rétt lýst. Við áttum mjög góð samskipti fyrir skiptin og á meðan á þeim stóð. Eileen ákvað nokkrum vikum fyrir skiptin að láta mig fá bílinn sinn að láni á meðan ég var úti, þó að við höfum ekki rætt um bílaskipti. Henni fannst það betra en að skilja bílinn eftir á flugvellinum. Hún og dóttir hennar komu að morgni á meðan ég var enn heima, en ég flaug svo út síðdegis. Ég gat því keyrt þær um Vestur- og miðbæinn og látið þær vita hvar allt það helsta væri.
Joachim and Soraya are a fun and energetic couple. His English is very good and it made communicating easy. Their home is wonderfully located away from the center of Barcelona, but very accessible by local tram or his car. The house is simply and comfortably furnished and we loved it.

We are a retired couple. Tim is an Architect and Eileen is a business owner and designer. We have 4 grown children and five grandchildren. We would most likely be traveling as just the two of us, but on occasion, and depending on particulars, one of our adult children might meet us for a short time. Our children live in Dublin, Boston, Atlanta and Alabama.
We are avid antiques collectors and enjoy painting and art. Our home has lots of original artwork as well as some lovely antique pieces we've collected through the years. We promise to be kind to your home, as we know you will be with ours. That being said, we have also taken care to only leave out things that are not "irreplaceable", so no worries for you! We try to keep it comfortable, casual and livable! Because Florida is that kind of place.
