Antigua casa valenciana renovada y muy acogedora, en histórica ciudad pequeña - Old Valencian house renovated and very cosy, in historic small town
En el casco antiguo de Sagunt, casa unifamiliar con patio, ideal para cuatro personas aunque puede alojar hasta seis. Es una casa con mucha personalidad, en la que se encuentran todas las comodidades actuales (lavadora, lavavajillas, horno, microondas) en una vivienda que ha respetado la estructura antigua de 1930, incluyendo un arco medieval que comunica el salón con el patio.
Se accede a pie de calle a un recibidor, tiene un comedor comunicado con la cocina y un aseo en la planta baja. En el primer piso hay un cuarto de baño completo, un dormitorio de matrimonio y una habitación individual, además de un estudio. En el altillo hay otro dormitorio individual y un sofá cama doble. La casa tiene muros exteriores de piedra antiguos, por lo que no necesita aire acondicionado, es fresca en verano y cálida en invierno. Dispone de calefacción. El patio tiene dos jardineras con plantas y una mesa con sillas.

In the old town of Sagunt, detached house with courtyard, ideal for four people although it can accommodate up to six. It is a house with a lot of personality, where you can find all the modern comforts (washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave) in a house that has respected the old structure of 1930, including a medieval arch that connects the living room with the patio.
There is an entrance hall, a dining room connected to the kitchen and a toilet on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a complete bathroom, a double bedroom and a single bedroom, as well as a study. On the attic there is another single bedroom and a double sofa bed. The house has old stone exterior walls, so it does not need air conditioning, it is cool in summer and warm in winter. It has central heating. The patio has two planters with plants and a table with chairs.

La casa se encuentra en la zona antigua de Sagunt, en la misma calle se encuentra la iglesia románica del Salvador, la iglesia más antigua del municipio y una villa romana con mosaicos que se puede visitar. Sagunt cuenta con multitud de restos arqueológicos, principalmente de época romana (teatro romano, antiguo puerto, calzada, villa, restos del circo y un pequeño museo arqueológico con piezas muy interesantes).
Además, a una distancia corta se encuentran áreas naturales donde hacer senderismo como la Serra Calderona o la Serra d'Espadà, humedales donde observar pájaros como la Marjal del Moro o els Estanys d'Almenara y playas como la de Canet d'En Berenguer.
Muy cerca (2 minutos a pie) de la vivienda está la estación de tren, con trenes directos a Madrid, Barcelona o Valencia.
El Puerto de Sagunt está a 5 minutos en coche o 20 minutos en bus y se puede acceder a su paseo marítimo y playas, patrimonio industrial y cultural. En verano, en el casco histórico de Sagunt tiene lugar un festival de teatro, y durante todo el año se celebran fiestas tradicionales valencianas muy interesantes (a resaltar la Semana Santa saguntina, las Fallas o la celebración del 9 de octubre, con feria y mercado medieval). Hay autobuses desde una parada muy cerca de casa directos a las playas del Puerto o Canet.

The house is located in the old part of Sagunt, in the same street is the Romanesque church of El Salvador, the oldest church in the municipality and a Roman villa with mosaics that can be visited. Sagunt has many archaeological remains, mainly from the Roman period (Roman theatre, old port, road, villa, remains of the circus and a small archaeological museum with very interesting pieces).
In addition, at a short distance there are natural areas for hiking such as the Serra Calderona or the Serra d'Espadà, wetlands for bird watching such as the Marjal del Moro or the Estanys d'Almenara and beaches such as the one in Canet d'En Berenguer.
Very close (2 minutes walk) to the house is the train station, with direct trains to Madrid, Barcelona or Valencia.
The Port of Sagunt is 5 minutes away by car or 20 by bus and you can access its promenade and beaches, as well as its industrial and cultural heritage. In summer, a theatre festival takes place in the historic centre of Sagunt, and throughout the year there are very interesting traditional Valencian festivals (the most important of which are the Easter Week religious processions, the Fallas or the celebration of the 9th of October, with a fair and medieval market). There's a bus stop very close from home with direct buses to the Port and Canet beaches.

La vivienda es muy cómoda y agradable, te prestan también lo necesario para ir de acampada, y te dan recomendaciones para disfrutar al máximo de la región. Det var korrekt presenterat i annonsen. Huset större än förväntat och byn var mycket mysigare än vi trodde. Buss till havet gick precis utanför vilket de hade kunnat skriva i annonsen. Samt tåg till större städer så vi skippade bil helt. Så smidigt!
We were very comfortable in Sagunt. The design of the house was very different than usual... very unique The house was very close to València and other places of intereset They left our house in a perfect state as we tried to do for theirs. We thank Vicent Farga's family for their care.

Hola! Somos una familia con muchas ganas de conocer otras culturas y países. Vicent trabaja de informático en una pequeña empresa, Laura es profesora y las niñas estudian música (la mayor toca la viola y la pequeña el piano) y juegan al fútbol.
Tenemos experiencia en Intervac, Laura hizo intercambios de joven con sus padres y como familia hemos intercambiado diversas veces, es una forma de viajar que nos encanta. Al ser las niñas más mayores nos hemos animado a intercambiar nuestra casa y conocer otros países, además dar la oportunidad a otra familia a conocer una pequeña ciudad valenciana con mucha historia y cultura como es Sagunt.

Hello! We are a family eager to get to know other cultures and countries. Vicent works as an IT specialist in a small company, Laura is a teacher and the girls study music (the eldest plays the viola and the youngest plays the piano) and play football.
We have experience in Intervac, Laura did exchanges when she was young with her parents and as a family they have exchanged many times, it is a way of travelling that we love. As the girls are older we have decided to exchange our house and get to know other countries, as well as giving another family the opportunity to get to know a small Valencian city with a rich history and culture like Sagunt.
