A country cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way in South West Donegal
A completely refurbished country cottage, on its own land between Donegal town and the fishing port of Killybegs. It is close to many of the beautiful Donegal beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way.Our nearest beach is 5 minutes from the house. Rossnowlagh beach and Narin Beach are less than 30 minutes from the house. Slieve League, Glencomlcille and Sligo are less than 40 minutes away.Donegal town, with its historic castle and lovely cafés and restaurants are less than 20 minutes by car/local bus.. The area is now also served with local link bueses to Donegal and further west to Glencolmcille. The house is also ideally located for exploring Northern Ireland and North Donegal.

The description of Rosaleens home was very accurate and we had a lovely time. Donegal is beautiful.
Communication was great. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly both during the exchange setup and during the exchange itself. Their home was clean, comfortable and easy to stay in. It was ideally situated for exploring all that beautiful Donegal has to offer.
Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen im Haus von Rosaleen und Paul verbracht. Im Nordwesten Irlands kann man vor der Haustüre tolle Ausflüge machen. Auch Whale-Watching und Seerobben-Beobachtungen, prähistorische Stätten und wunderbare Landschaften. Das stimmungsvolle Gaelic-Football-Finale im Abbey-Hotel Donegal war ein Erlebnis! Das Haus ist landestypisch, liebevoll eingerichtet und wurde neu renoviert. 14 Schafe gehören zum Anwesen, morgens beim Frühstück konnten wir sie schon gut beobachten. Vielen Dank für den Tausch, das nette Miteinander und die gute Organisation durch Rosaleen und Paul!
