Nice house in calm surrounding near Vienna

Detached house with garden and small pond. The house is located a little uphill, offering a beautiful view of the countryside. It is situated in a village with 5.000 inhabitants 30 kilometers from Vienna (with car 30 minutes).
Our house features 150 m² living space plus 70 m² basement. It includes 2 bedrooms, 1 children's room, 1 bathroom, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen, 1 open, big livingroom with a winter garden, 1 terrace, a barbeque area, 1 sauna, 1 laundry, 1 big fireplace in the livingroom. Moreover the house has got 4 double beds (2 in children's room, 1 in master bedroom, 1 in the basement), 1 bed couch in the livingroom for 1-2 persons and 1 mobile inflatable bed. Internet/WLAN as well as 2 TV-sets (satellite) are available too.
Infrastructure: Supermarket 1km, trainstation 3km (directly to Vienna in 20 minutes), Pizzeria/Bistro/Pub 1-2 km, Postoffice/doctor/pharmacy 3km, tennis court/soccer/public pool 1-2km.
The house is located in the middle of the "Wienerwald", offering a variety of mountain bike and running trails, as well as possibilities to go hiking.
The location of the house makes it an ideal place for several daily trips to other Austrian provinces and cities, for example St Pölten (30km), Linz (150km), Salzburg (260km), Graz (150km), Eisenstadt (90km) or the Neusiedlersee (70km) or even to the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Germany. Basically an own car is necessary, unless you use a bike to get to the train station.
The most precious things in our home are our cats Gaia and Eros (born 2013), who love to be petted and caressed, need to be fed 1-2 times a day. Gaia and Eros are confiding and have never scratched anyone in their whole lives.

Unser Haus ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch vieler Touristenattraktionen Ostösterreichs.
Die Stadtgrenze Wiens liegt nur 20 Autominuten von uns entfernt. Im Zentrum Wiens ist man mit dem Auto in 45 Min, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln 45-60 Minuten. Wir wohnen 2,5km vom Bahnhof entfernt (6 Autominuten, zu Fuß 30-40 Minuten). Das Parken am Bahnhof "Eichgraben-Altlengbach" ist den gesamten Tag gratis. Von dort fährt man circa 30 Minuten mit dem Zug bis in die Innenstadt. Bis Mitternacht ist es keine Problem, auch wieder mit dem Zug nach Eichgraben zu kommen. Vom Bahnhof "Eichgraben-Altlengbach" aus kann man mit dem Zug alle Landeshauptstädte erreichen.
Die Landeshauptstadt Niederösterreichs St. Pölten ist mit dem Auto in 30 Minuten erreichbar. Salzburg in 2,5 Stunden und Linz in 1,5 Stunden.
Unsere Gegend eignet sich ideal für Wanderausflüge. Das Freibad liegt nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Weitere Freibäder findet man in der Umgebung ebenso.
Der Ort Eichgraben liegt am Rande des Wienerwaldes im hügeligen Land. Es gibt viele Wälder hier, wenig Wasser. Eichgraben hat rund 5.000 EinwohnerInnen und liegt auf einer Höhe von 286m. Das Klima hier ist deshalb recht mild bis warm. Im Ort gibt es Supermärkte, eine Apotheke, eine Bank, Ärzte und eine Bäckerei. In umliegenden Gemeinden wie Neulengbach oder Pressbaum (circa 10 Autominuten entfernt) gibt es auch Baumärkte, Drogeriemärkte und andere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Kleidung, Tiernahrung etc. 20 Autominuten entfernt gibt es das "Auhofcenter" als nächstes Einkaufszentrum. Dort befindet sich auch das nächste Kino.

Wir hatten einen traumhaft schönen Urlaub in diesem tollen Haus. Besonders der Pool war eines der Highlights für die Kinder. Der Kontakt vor während und nach dem Tausch war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Nice house in calm surrounding near Vienna

Our names are Theresa and Andreas Trinbacher. We work as teachers in Vienna and moved to Eichgraben in 2015. I, Theresa, was born in Upper Austria in 1982, my husband Andreas in Vienna 1980. We married in August 2016. We have a 7 year old daugther, named Annika. She is born on the 5th of July 2019. We also have a 4 year old son, named Linus, he is born on the 10th of march in 2022.
Already as a child my family and I (Theresa) went on holiday using Intervac offers. Every time it was a great pleasure for us to meet new people and get to know exciting locations.
My husband and I love animals, cooking, activities in nature, Andreas plays drums in a band.
