Child-friendly house in beautiful town north of Copenhagen, Denmark
In Espergærde, you find lovely beaches, beautiful forests, a small and cosy harbour, shops, cafés and a friendly atmosphere.
We live in a house in two floors built in the 1960's with a lovely view at the end of a little dead-end road. On the main floor, you find a bedroom with a double bed, two study rooms - one with a bed, bathroom, kitchen and livingroom. In the basement, you find washing facilities and two teenage rooms. You have direct access to the garden from both floors. In the garden, you find several terraces as well as a porch. You can barbeque, and there is a trampoline (mainly) for children in the summer season. Within walking distance from our house, you find Flynderupgård in between the forest and some fields where you can meet newborn lamb in springtime, experience historical farming, enjoy a homemade traditional Danish dinner and experience shifting exhibitions. On the way to the former manor house, you pass fields with horses and cows. You find several playgrounds nearby as well.
Main attractions nearby are the museum of modern art Louisiana and the great, very old town Helsingør (Elsinore) with the old city centre, the big castle Kronborg and the Maritime Museum of Denmark placed in an old dry dock. From Helsingør, you can go to Helsingborg in Sweden by ferry. Sweden is only five kilometres away. It is easy to go to Copenhagen by direct train or car to see the little mermaid, Tivoli, the main shopping streets or to experience the capital in other ways.

Trevligt hus i närheten av havet med vacker trädgård som bjöd på jordgubbar och sallad. Huset var korrekt presenterat på hemsidan. Värden var vänlig och svarade på alla frågor.
Wir konnten den Weg gut finden und das Haus ist viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Es ist sehr schön und sehr praktisch eingerichtet, wir hatten und fanden alles, was wir brauchten. Der Garten ist einfach herrlich und es ist ein sehr ruhiges Quartier, die Fahrräder standen unabgeschlossen vor dem Haus - das sagt ja auch viel über die Qualität der Wohnlage. Wir haben mit dem Fahrrad und per Zug die nähere Umgebung bis auf Helsingborg erkundet und viele schöne Strände besucht - trotz Hochsaison waren nirgends viele Leute. Eine sehr entspannte Gegend. Gry hat uns viele Prospekte und Empfehlungen bereitgelegt, die wir gut brauchen konnten. Das Einkaufszentrum in der Nähe bietet alles, was man braucht und die nahen Restaurants sind auch empfehlenswert.

Vi blev fint välkomnade av de Intervac medlemmar vi bytte med, de hade samlat mycket information om sin hemstad och nyttig info till oss tex kring parkering etc. Vi trivdes i deras fina lägenhet och hade bra dagar i Köpenhamn. De hade presenterat sig själva och lägenheten på ett korrekt sätt och vi blev inte besvikna.
