Colwyn Bay, Stóra-Bretland

We live in a village in the Conwy Valley, just outside the Snowdonia National Park. In the village there is a pub, which also serves food.
 
Our house has beautiful views and is very comfortable, with open plan dining room / sitting room / kitchen, a double bedroom with private shower room, two kids' bedrooms, a further double bedroom and bathroom.
Facilities in the house include: washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, wi-fi, dvd/blu-ray, piano.
 
In the garden there is a large, completely private, south and west-facing terrace with beautiful views over the village and surrounding countryside.

Our village is situated about 10km from the north Wales coast. We have many beautiful beaches within reach, especially on the Llyn Peninsula and on the Isle of Anglesey.
 
Within a mile is Bodnant Garden, a renowned National Trust garden. The historic town of Conwy with its impressive medieval castle - a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site - is 15 minutes away. There are many other fine examples of medieval castles all over north Wales. There is also the town of Llandudno, a traditional Victorian seaside resort.
 
There are lots of opportunities for climbing, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, sailing, golfing etc. locally.

The cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester can be reached within an hour and a half, and Dublin is easily reachable by ferry from Holyhead. London is only three hours by train from the nearest mainline station, which is a 15-minute drive away.
