WE ARE LOOKING TO EXCHANGE FOR 2-3 WEEKS DURING SUMMER 2024
PERHAPS EVEN SHORTER STAYS DURING EASTER AND FALL 2024.
Our apartment is on the second floor of a lovely 4 apartment building close to downtown Reykjavik, shared entrance with lovely quiet neighbours on top floor.
It has 3 bedrooms, 1 large children's room with a double bed, 1 large children's room with a bed for a toddler & a master bedroom with a 180cm wide bed. We have a comfortable blow-up matress for two people and a bed for infant if needed.

The main apartment has an open space kitchen/dining room with a dishwasher and the living room has a grand piano, a vinyl record player and a tv with cable and apple-tv.
We have wi-fi internet.
A large shared backyard and a balcony with a gas BBQ.
The laundry room is in the basement and is a shared space with the other neighbours and has a washer and dryer.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and other basic appliances.
Bathroom was renovated in December 2023 and has a large walk-in shower.
We have 3 adult bikes, one kid's bike and a seat for the adult bikes for a kid up to 4 years old. We also have a kid's bike that can be attached on the back of an adult bike for longer rides.
We will do our best to make your stay in Reykjavík as good as possible. We are also happy to suggest tours and activities.
We also have a studio apartment which we sometimes use for family or friends visiting. It is possible to arrange for it to be included in the exchange as well.
It has a queen size bed, small desk, a kitchen and a very small bathroom with shower.

It was great. The apartment was well situated and we could visit lots of places from it
The communication went smoothly and communication was also possible during the exchange if necessary. A lovely house close to the center. We cycled to the center every day. The best experiences with regard to the house were the expresso machine and perhaps even more so the coffee grinder that is almost silent. In addition, we have become attached to the shaved ice that comes out of the fridge and the beautiful soda glasses in which you put the shaved ice. A super nice family & house to trade with.
Very friendly family. The exchange was perfect.

We are a quiet, artistic family.
Sigga is an actor/singer and performing arts teacher and Karl is a composer/music producer/pianist. We have two daughters: Rán who is born in February 2019 and Lára Björk who is born in 2009. We have a cat, Felix, who was born in september 2022 and is extremely cuddly and friendly. He needs to be let in and out but we have neighbours who can look after him if needed.
