Big flat in the city center of Zurich, Switzerland / 5-Zimmer-Familienwohnung mitten in Zürich

We live in a rather calm flat at a nice square with fountain and french café/restaurant. The flat is situated in a lively and authentic neighbourhood.
It has been renovated in 2012 and is rather spacious for a flat in a building from the 1920ies (two flats before the renovation). We are living here as a family of four, everybody having his own room. So you'll find four bedrooms, two of them having a rather big bed, two of them having little balconies.

Unsere Wohnung liegt an einem hübschen Platz mit Café, Brunnen und Blumentöpfen, in einer eher ruhigen Ecke des lebendigen Quartiers Kreis 4. Zu Fuss, mit dem Fahrrad und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist man in kürzester Zeit in der Altstadt, in einem der vielen Bäder oder am See, schaut vom Üetliberg oder dem Prime Tower auf die Stadt.
Die Wohnung gehört zu einer typischen Arbeitersiedlung, erbaut 1928. Sie wurde 2012 vollständig renoviert.

Calm flat at a nice square with fountain and french café/restaurant, lively neighborhood, authentic; situated in the middle of the city. Many attractions within walking distance: museums, lake and river (especially if you like swimming), parks and playgrounds, restaurants, cinemas, forest and fireplaces, …

You reach most destinations within Zurich by foot or bike. All other places in and around the city as well as throughout Switzerland you reach very easily by public transport. Stations to all directions are 2 minutes from our apartement, from there you are in 3 minutes at the main station.

Historically the district 4 (as well as district 5 right on the other side of the railway/bridge "Hardbrücke") has been a working class neighborhood. You can still recognize it in some old industrial buildings mostly being cultural places now (e.g.: Schiffbau, Markthalle/Viadukt in district 5) and in the typical architecture of the houses. In the meanwhile both districts are multicultural quarters with a lot of creative people living and working here.

Even if you reach nightlife hotspots within a few minutes by foot, our direct neighbourhood is quiet. There are a lot of families living here. In our yard we have a common playground and some chickens the kids living around the yard are responsible for.

Alles war perfekt, eine sehr schöne Wohnung und sehr gut gelegen. Auch unsere Wohnung wurde wieder so vorgefunden wie verlassen. Die Kommunikation war sehr nett, unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen!

Xenia und Bruno sind sehr großzügige und herzliche Gastgeber. Schöne Wohnung mit viel Platz mit guter Anbindung an Innenstadt, Badeplätze und Ausgehmöglichkeiten.
