For July and August 2024 we have already made an exchange. But we are looking to go somewhere in 2025 with a temperature between 20 - 30 degrees celsius (maybe with pool too).
A 13 years old passive house in the small village in the nature, near the forest. Slovenia is so small (with 2 hours of driving and you are on the border of Croatia, Austria, Italy), that you could visit a lot of historical, traditional, sacral objects, enyoj in mountains, lakes and adriatic sea. We have a small (5 seats) and a big (7 seats) car (driving on high road is free for charge - with big car).
The house has two floors and a garage, a small fitnes, three bathrooms, a kitchen, an office... and friendly neighbors.

About the neighborhood
Out of the city village, that is also very close (2 km) to the local market, post office, restaurants, playing grounds, sports fields...
In the village are 15 houses, is very quiet and peacefull, sourraunded with nature and forest. In the middle of the village is a farm in which you can see farm animals. You can also try to ride a horse.

The experience of interecting with the family where we stayed with was nice. They found another two sets in their car, we talked by phone, they were very social in our home with neighburs, ... and soo and soo. Our neighurs spent a lot of time with them and generally was very nice, cultural guys.

It was a wonderfull swap with a nice family, in a very nice house in a nice area. Everything was perfect. Tatjana and Marko the owners was so kind because due to the covid (august 2020) they prefer stay in their first flat and not come in France in our house but accept we come in their second house in the Vipava valley. Thank to you and you are wellcome at home when you are ready. Superbe échange avec une famille très sympa qui quelques temps avant le départ n'a pas souhaité venir chez nous à cause du covid (août 2020) ce que nous avons parfaitement compris, mais qui a accepté que nous venions chez eux dans leur maison secondaire alors que eux restait dans leur résidence principale. (Nous avions déjà réservé l'avion). Nous avons profité d'une très jolie maison typique, rustique et confortable très bien située au milieu des vignes et en pleine campagne dans un petit village viticole au milieu de la Vipava valley région très touristique de la Slovénie.
