wellcome to " le querciole " from aldo and kissi !
 
this romantic cottage is surrounded by lush vineyards, classic white roads of tuscany (great for long, enchanting country walks), nearby hot springs, and friendly neighbours.  it is a cottage with two bedrooms; bath; kitchen; and dining/living room with fireplace.

kissi cereghini, who works as a trainer of elementary teachers and therapist  in milan  is the owner of this charming home. it is named le querciole after a small local oak tree in this borgo called gallina, just south of san quirico d'orcia, in the province of siena. she and aldo, her partner, have lovingly restored this old farmhouse, which is part of a collection of buildings (all owned by italians) that make up this old hilltop farming community.

around the corner lives ornella orfei, who do not speak english, but are very kind and can be helpful in many ways.

if you follow the strada bianca (white road), from querciole down the hill, you will arrive in the small hamlet of gallina. it consists of about twelve residential homes, the capitani bar and parallel restaurant and a small grocery . all the basic necessities needed for your stay in querciole. the wonders of the tuscan countryside, with its magical hilltowns and therapeutic hot springs, are all within easy reach: pienza, monticchiello, bagno vignoni, san querico d'orcia, montepulciano, and montalcino.
accommodations
first floor: the house consists of a full living room with working wood fireplace, a dining area, and kitchen. there is also a full bathroom (shower only) with a washing machine.

second floor: there is a second floor master bedroom at the front of the house with a queen size bed and a second bedroom with two beds or a dabble bed.

outdoors: the outdoor terrace affords alfresco dining with a table and chairs for four people.
