Apartment in Valencia downtown very close to beaches,cultural places and sports facilities.
Our apartment (90m2) has 2 bedrooms, office, kitchen, one bathroom with shower and a living/dining-room. The bedroom has a double bed, in the children´s room is a single bed and in our office, we have an single-board-bed (you can see it on the photo). So we can accommodate 3-4 people. The kitchen offers all electrical equipment to be comfortable. The bedrooms and kitchen go to a little, typical spanisch and very quiet courtyard. The apartment is in the sixted floor with lift in a well-kept house, built in the year 1966. We have air-conditioning in the living/dining-room and every bedroom is equiped with a ceiling fan. Very near to our home, about 200m, there is a sports facility with covered swimming-pools and a fitness-centre. The Big Park for outdoor activities (footing, walking, etc) is about 800m away.We are non-smokers.

About the neighborhood
We live in a central neighborhood of Valencia, 1 km from the city hall. We have easy access to public transportation, including buses and the metro, but the city is also easily walkable from our apartment. The neighborhood is family-friendly and quiet, and the apartment is on a side street. Supermarkets, bakeries, a fishmonger, and other essentials are just a few meters away. There are also many different restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. A fitness center and indoor swimming pool are 500 meters away, and for outdoor activities, there's Big Park, a park located in the old Turia riverbed.

Ayer ya contesté a este cuestionario!!! Resumo: Fue un intercambio simultáneo. Muy bonito. Nos recibieron familiares y nos explicaron los pormenores. Por nuestra parte, como en aquella fechas no estaban nuestros familiares o amigos en Valencia, optamos por escribirles con mucha antelación todo lo que necesitaban saber y sugerencias para visitar, etc. Así, cuando llegó la fecha de intercambio, ya nos conocíamos para consultar o preguntarnos cosas importantes para el intercambio. Nos encantó.

Les indico: Se trata de una familia agradable con la que comentamos las indicaciones y los sitios que recomendamos a visitar, asimismo hicieron ellos cuando fuimos. Fue un intercambio no simultáneo. Nos lo pasamos muy bien. Tenemos unos muy buenos recuerdos del intercambio.
Ya he contestado a este cuestionario, pero no sé si no ha sido enviado bien. Repito: con esta familia fue un intercambio algo distinto, porque tuvimos la ocasión de conocernos el primer y último día y fue más especial. Nos llevamos muy bien. Ellos vinieron con amigos y congeniamos. Nos comentamos indicaciones para las casas, la zona, excursiones, el cuidado de sus animales, etc. Fue un intercambio bonito.
Se trata de una familia muy agradable. Nos dejaron indicaciones para todo, incluso para visitar su zona. Estamos muy contentos de haber hecho ese intercambio.

We are a small family: mother (Sonja, 57) and daughter (Andrea, 21, law student) and we live in an 90qm appartment in Valencia down town, in a lively and safety district. You can reach by foodwalk all interesting points of Valencia. The big park, a former river-bed, where people make footing, walk and spend freetime is about 800m far away. You will also find a lot of restaurants and terraces as well as supermarkets near to our appartment, but the street where we live, is really quiet, because it is a by-street. The connection by bus or underground is around the corner. The beach is about 2km far away. Very beautiful is also the Valencia Port where you can find a lot of pubs and restaurants. Valencia is a modern city with an interesting artistic scene (museums, theatres, opera-house, the city of arts and sciences, the oceanographic, etc) and its charming old town. I recommend to visit the Centralmarket, the basilica, the cathdral, the Lonja, etc. I am German, but I live about 30 years in this city and I love Valencia and its environments. On one hand, the beaches localities like Denia, Altea, Javea, Canet and on the other hand, the country inside with its rivers, mountains and picturesques walking-tours. We are a quiet family, respectful and it is natural for us to handle foreign properties and belongings with the same care as ourselves.
