Our house is a single-storeyed house, 200 m2 .There are 3 bedrooms , 1 toilet, and 2 bathrooms. We have a large dining kitchen with all facilities incl. dish-washer and microwave. Further more a big sitting room and a patio. In our scullery there is a washing-mashine and a tumble-drier.
The garden is rather big and undisturbed. Mostly grass and flowers and a greenhouse.

About the neighborhood
We live in a safe and quiet niegbourhood on rural surroundings i Lejre. Near by you will find a bakery, 2 grocery stores
The trainstation is within 1 km. It takes about 10 minutes to go to Roskilde which is the nearest big city and it takes 30 minutes to go to our Capital, Copenhagen.
If you prefer to go by car the highway is about 7 km away and from that point the distance to Copenhagen is only about 30 km (25 minutes).
In Roskilde there is a lot of possibilities for shopping, culture and restaurants (http://www.visitroskilde.com/).
You can among other things visit the cathedral (http://www.roskildedomkirke.dk/uk/)
Viking ship Museum (http://www.vikingeskibsmuseet.dk/).
If you are interested in golfing there are 3 golf courses within 10 km. One of them is at Ledreborg Park (http://www.lpgc.dk/). At Ledreborg you also find a small castle and a lovely park(http://www.ledreborgslot.dk/).
It is possible to go swimming in Roskilde inlet which is 10 km away.
If you go to the capital, Copenhagen there are plenty of things to see and do (http://www.visitcopenhagen.dk/ and http://www.aok.dk/)

Præsentation og vores oplevelse passede fint. Det var et dejligt hus og en god ferie oplevelse.
This was a great experience and exceeded our expectations. Lejre was a wonderful area and full of historical surprises. Børge and Jytte were extraordinary hosts and good communicators, providing an impressive amount of resources and guides for activities throughout all of Denmark. Their house was spacious and garden lovely. We highly recommend them for home exchanges.
Præsentationen stod helt mål med vores oplevelse. De havde gjort rigtig meget ud af at foreslå steder, vi kunne opleve i form af mappe med billeder og kort. Mappen var delt op i hvor langt begivenheden var fra huset opgjort i timer.

We are 2 adults. Børge Madsen is an engineer and he is 69 years old and Jytte Pedersen is a technician and she is 66 years old.
We have a daughter, and 2 grandchildren, a girl at 8 and a boy at 2 year.
We love to travel and meet new people and new places.
We have done a lot of exchanges, as you can see.
We both work at Copenhagen. We have a small aquarium with a few fish.
