Our home is in the beautiful town of St Andrews, which has world-class golf courses and is home to Scotland's oldest university. Our home is within walking distance of the town's harbour, two beautiful beaches, and its town centre.

By downloading the free Medieval St Andrews App, you can explore the town's rich history on foot, including the Castle and Cathedral to name but two. St Andrews has a good variety of tourist attractions including, a botanical garden, museums, and parks, along with the local Byre Theatre, and Cinema.

There are lots of lovely places to eat and drink and the town center hosts a variety of shops. North-east Fife is very picturesque and there are beautiful fishing villages along its coast. Just outside St Andrews, with good bus links, is Leuchars Train Station. By train or bus, you could explore Scotland's Capital, Edinburgh (approximately 1 hour train journey, with free Museums) along with many more interesting destinations. Dundee City is approximately 15 miles north of St Andrews and hosts many tourist attractions.

St Andrews is a safe, lovely town with lots to offer.

La maison correspondait complètement à l'annonce. Maison confortable et très propre. Joli jardin agréable et bien entretenu. La communication avec Sandy et Jackie a été facile et riche, avant et pendant l'échange. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Bref un bien bel échange!

This was my first exchange and what a wonderful experience it was. Jackie was easy to communicate with and I loved staying in their house. St. Andrews truly is a gem in a beautiful pocket of the world. Jackie and her family treated my home as if it was their own. Thank you.

We did An non regristrated exchange with Bruges . The house was ok except it wasn't so clean as we are used to . Result being back home our house wasn't so clean as we expected . There was nothing broken but they did no cleaning during the one week exchange ! So being home we needed to clean up everything , Luckily there was no damage at furniture of other things . They just did what we asked , watering the plants etc , but we found it normal that there should be some cleaning , so we didn't asked it and they didn't do it . Next time we will leave a note with more instructions ! Something like houserules !

Nice house in a quiet and beautiful region of Scotland! Many touristic highlights ! Nice family and helpfull neighbours ! Nice garden ! House looks small but was big with all the things we need for a superb holiday !
