TENERIFE: large family house with swimming pools

We offer a large family house in a beautiful residential complex with swimming pools and a playground in Adeje, Tenerife. The house is situated on the corner of the complex, with views over the complex and has three terraces and two balconies to enjoy the wonderful summer climate.
Entry: hall, storage space and stairs to the living area
Floor 1: modern living room, kitchen, home office, bathroom 1, kitchen terrace, front terrace
Floor 2: parents bedroom with balcony, bathroom 2, kids bedroom with small bathroom 3, large teenage bedroom with bathroom 4 and balcony, extra bedroom
Floor 3: attic with a sleeping space, laundry area and roof terrace
The house is especially suitable for families with children, but truly any guests could enjoy themselves here. Please note that the house has three stairs; physical ability to climb stairs is needed.
We don't have any pets at the moment. We have a car that may be used during the exchange.
The house is situated in Adeje, a friendly sized Canary town in the south of Tenerife, near many touristic hotspots and beaches Tenerife is known for, such as Playa las Vistas, El Duque, Troya and many more. Two large waterparks (Siam Park & Aqualand) are within a 10-minute drive. Adeje is about 10 km from the larger city Los Cristianos with its beaches, restaurants and vibrant atmosphere. Los Cristianos is also home of the harbour where the ferry to La Gomera, El Hierro and La Palma docks, if you would like to explore more Canary Islands. A 20 minute drive to the west leads to Los Gigantes, a former fishing village next to astounding cliffs of over 600 meters of height.
In the lush and green north the colonial cities of La Laguna and the capital Santa Cruz are found, known for their rich history, shopping opportunities and a variety of cafés, restaurants and entertainment. The north is home to the number 1 zoo "Loro Parque", natural pools, hiking opportunities, forests and beaches with black sand.
Tenerife is perfect for nature-minded guests. The beautiful nature is to be found in the western & northern parts, as is the impressive vulcano El Teide, which is worth a day trip. Close to home in Adeje, the hike "Barranco del Infierno" leads through a ravine and ends at Tenerife's largest waterfall.

About the neighborhood
Our house is close to highway TF-1, giving entrance to touristic areas of Playa las Américas, Los Cristianos, El Médano and the North.
The neighborhood is characterized as urban. Next to our house is a beautiful park, unfortunately it's unclear when it re-opens to the public. A few cafés are located nearby; multiple large supermarkets are within walking distance (Mercadona, Tu Trebol, Aldi & Lidl).
In the historical center, Calle Grande hosts a variety of (chicken) restaurants, as well as the old church and town hall with a modern square with a beautiful view over Barranco del Infierno. Our tip is to visit restaurant Otelo, with stunning views over the ravine, Adeje and the ocean. This restaurant is located next to the entrance of the hike "Barranco del Infierno".
In the newer neighbourhood "El Galeón", an Outlet Shopping Mall and a street with restaurants are found. On the other side of the highway TF-1 a brand new shopping center, "Adeje Shopping" is being built, featuring Decathlon, Toys-R-Us, Leroy Merlin, Burger King, Popeyes & McDonald's.
Adeje is a friendly sized town with lots of amenities that hosts both Canary inhabitants and long-staying foreigners.

We enjoyed our Chrismas week in winterwonderland Melk / Wachau. The house is very big and we enjoyed the cozy feeling of coming home after our winter adventures. Melk is well situated on the Danube river and has lots of cultural and natural highlights to enjoy, the Melk abbey is a must see. The train station is very close by enabling a comfortable trip to Vienna. The Urdl family is very welcoming and even lent us their winter equipment to enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing and skating. Everything was well communicated and arranged before and during the exchange. It was an exchange that we will remember!
After almost 25 Intervac exchanges this one was truly the best we had! The family is extremely nice, fast and easy to communicate with. The children are very well-behaving and outgoing. Everything was exactly as described, the house itself is wonderful, very clean, and you will find everything you need to have a perfect stay. The house is part of a complex with a lovely garden and luxurious pools, the surrounding is great, shops nearby and the beaches are just wonderful.
We had a wonderful stay in Bęblo and we highly recommend this listing. The house and the facilities offered by the family are great and we have enjoyed the large garden and bicycles. We had a very good communication with the family throughout the exchange. The area near Krakow and the National Park is perfect for cultural and sports activities.
Very successful exchange with a very experienced family. The entire experience was blissful, starting with good communication and arrangements, then a wonderful two-week stay at their large home in Belgium, finalized with the exchanged of our written journals. They left our house clean and well maintained. Most of all they are friendly and responsive people.

An experienced home-exchanging family: social, tidy and always up for adventure.
We are a Dutch family living in Tenerife. Our kids (f16 &m10) love the outdoor opportunities. We like to explore the island and meet new people. Our hobbies are hiking in nature, swimming & snorkeling, playing board games, going to the beach or mountains, relaxing at the pools and discovering new spots on the island.
We enjoy a clean, organized home and take care of your home as our own.
