Longer adventures include Phoenix (2 hours), Sedona (4.5 hours), Flagstaff (5 hours), Grand Canyon (5.5 hours), Joshua Tree (5 hours), Death Valley (5 hours), Las Vegas (7 hours), and San Diego (7 hours).

This was a hospitality exchange and Sharon was a really lovely host. I enjoyed staying with her and going on tours and sightseeing together. There is so much to see, I loved the cacti in bloom in the desert and birds tweeting their way all around.
Stephen and Sandra were remarkable exchange partners. They are avid travelers and have completed over 20 exchanges and guided me through the entire process. There home was impeccable and well situated for exploring the Highlands, the John Muir Way, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the beautiful country around Loch Lomond. I had a wonderful experience and I am anxious to do another Home Exchange.

I am a retired English teacher, assistant principal, and collegiate women’s basketball coach. I have one daughter and two grandchildren who live nearby in Arizona. I love to hike, play pickleball, swim laps, and eat vegan foods! I also love to explore the natural wonders of the world.
In the United States, I have only lived in three states (Michigan, New Mexico, and Arizona), but I have traveled extensively. I have visited 41 National Parks or Monuments. In recent years, I have traveled internationally to Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, England, Ireland, Wales, Germany, Croatia, Italy, Austria, and Switzerland.
I do not smoke, vape, or drink alcohol. I am open to traveling with or without my dog (Scout).
