We live in a comfortable two-bedroom, 2-bath home at the end of the street in a quiet neighborhood. Grand Junction is a university town in western Colorado - halfway between Denver, CO and Salt Lake City, UT. Our home is a short drive from Main Street where you will find a variety of restaurants and shops to visit. The premier attraction in our valley is the Colorado National Monument, a beautiful desert National park of red rock cliffs and canyons. The opposite side of the valley is overlooked by the Grand Mesa, the largest flat-topped mountain in the world, where you will find high alpine meadows and lakes. Recreational opportunities abound with miles of mountain biking and hiking trails nearby, Additional popular local activities include road cycling and river rafting . Our valley is also the home of Palisade, CO, known for its orchards and vineyards and home to several award-winning wineries. There are also several Colorado ski resorts are within a 2-hour drive and Moab, Utah with Arches and Canyonlands National Parks is about 1.5 hours away.
