Welcome to Uppsala and our home!
Our house is located in a calm neighborhood in the southern parts of Uppsala. Close by you’ll find forests, hiking and biking trails as well as the lake “Ekoln”. For your convenience; grocery stores, pharmacy, bakery etc are within walking and biking distance. Stockholm is just 30 min away with train from the central station or 45 min drive from our house.
Our house has up to 5 bedrooms, a big living room, a cosy kitchen with a separate dining room, a newly renovated bathroom with a bathtub, a smaller guest toilet, a sauna as well as a big laundry room and a garage. This January, we are renovating the laundry room and installing a second shower there, next to the sauna. The house is approximately 200 m2 and has two floors.
We have a green garden of 650 m2 with several fruit trees (apple, plum and cherries) as well as berries. We also have a nice terrace under roof, to enjoy summer meals outside.
The city of Uppsala is best enjoyed biking and has a lot of biking paths to get around town. We have several bikes, including children’s bikes. Other than that, our car, a Volvo is available for you to use, and there’s also a frequently trafficked bus stop no more than 100 m from the house.
