Our large, 3,000 square foot newly remodeled home combines the best of city and country. San Francisco is 20 minutes by car over the Golden Gate Bridge (or enjoy a spectacular ferry ride). The house sits on the edge of a beautiful neighborhood park and is an easy walk to the town of Mill Valley and its gourmet restaurants, coffee houses, boutiques, bars, theaters and live music venues. Mill Valley has been called "one of America’s best small towns" for its well-preserved architecture, hopping music scene and stunning natural surroundings.
Most homes in Mill Valley are on steep hills, but ours is located in a flat neighborhood that is a 10 minute walk to the center of town.

About Our Family
We are in our 60s and have been house exchanging since 2003.
Tracy is our family/household wizard, who had a career in public relations and real estate management. Brian is an environmental lawyer with a practice in San Francisco. We have three adult daughters living in Oakland, Los Angeles and Auckland, NZ, who typically do not travel with us.
We started house exchanging as an extension of our various experiences of living abroad which include our daughters' 6 month homestays in France and Argentina, Brian's year at the University of Sussex and Tracy's 4 years of high school in Tokyo. We enjoy enduring friendships with many of our exchange partners.
We are devoted theatre fans with special interest in new plays and also are proud Shakespeare "Completists," having seen every play he wrote performed on stage. We hold board leadership positions at an Equity theater in California and a social justice organization in Alabama.
