We spent two weeks in Pamplona and traveled with our two grown up children. The appartement is located in the middle of the old city center. Parking was possible only 5 minutes away. We used the parking lot underneath of the concert hall. We could charge the electric car over night and it was very comfortable for several day trips to discover the beautiful landscape in bask country. The appartement couldn't be more central! Sitting at the little balcony you had the ...place in view and could listen to the musicians and the cheerful crowd in the warm and sunny summer evenings. The appartement was very comfortable and cosy. We liked the beautiful mix of old wood and modern furniture combined with some beautiful paintings and fotographie. The artwork made it special! The kittchen was perfectly well equiped and we enjoyed cooking a lot. ( Thanks for the local food and wine, waiting for us as a welcome gift. ) If you like culinary experiences, Pamplona and the bask country is the perfekt place to be. So many markets with fresh vegetables, seafood, cheese, vine and local products. Many bars and Restaurants just across the street. One of our favorite: piementos de pardon! Very good while watching the sunset from the walls of the ancient fortification. And some ice cream in unusual flavors, like mango with piement d'esplette or lemon- mint. Because of the heat weave during our stay, the ice cream was a frequent stop while exploring the town. The car was useful to see a bit more of the landscape and visit Bilbao, San Sebastian, Olite, the caves of Urdazubi, the dessert Bardenas, Foz de Lumbier and Bron van de Urederra. If you spent time at Pamplona don't forget to bring hiking shoes and your bathing suit! Thanks for your hostility and the wonderful time we had during this home exchange. We had a wonderful vacation at Olaf's family home. It has everything you need for a relaxing break and is very well connected for visiting Potsdam and the surrounding area, as well as Berlin, a city that never ceases to amaze with its historical and contemporary attractions. Es war unser erster Tausch mit Nordamerika und wir waren wieder begeistert. Die Absprache war unkomliziert und wir haben ganz viele Tips bekommen. Auch die Hinweise zum Haus waren super mit allen Details.

Unsere Tauschpartner Martine & Gérard haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Das Haus ist sehr schön und komforabel. Erstmals konnten wir uns Tauschpartner bei Anreise noch kennenlernen. Die Stadt Guingamp ist zentral in der Bretagne gelegen. Die Strände in ca. 30 - 40 Fahrzeit erreichbar. Wir waren begeistert.
