This charming, comfortable house is located in the peaceful countryside, featuring a spacious and well-maintained garden. It boasts a large terrace equipped with a BBQ, perfect for enjoying the serene environment. The house is fully equipped with all modern amenities.
On the first floor, you'll find the entrance, kitchen, dining room, living room, a washroom, and a laundry room. The second floor includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The entire house is equipped with air conditioning for added comfort.
Situated on a hill, the house offers stunning views, including a panorama of Lyon. Our picturesque town, Chaponnay, is just a 10-minute walk away, where you'll find various shops, including a bakery, butcher, and pharmacy. A larger supermarket is also just a 10-minute drive away.

About the neighborhood
Chaponnay is a lovely town, highly sought after by people from around Lyon.
It’s charming, with many shops, including an excellent bakery that participated in the TV show "Le Meilleur Boulanger de France." You’ll be able to enjoy delicious French breads and pastries.
There’s also a great butcher, a florist, a pharmacy, a convenience store, a hairdresser, and a beautiful park.
At the top of our hill, you’ll love walking in nature and the peaceful countryside.
Just 10 minutes by car, you’ll find a large supermarket (Leclerc), a store offering fresh fruits and vegetables, and another bakery.
The center of Lyon is only 20 minutes away, and you’ll also have easy access to the Alps, Burgundy, the French Riviera, and more!

The Lambert family have been very communicative at all times, facilitating any possible difficulties. They have a very well equipped and spacious house. The town where it is located is well connected if you want to visit Lyon, also with access to get to know the surrounding area well which is very interesting.
The home exchange with Leticia & Alexis + kids was super good. Home was perfect, very easygoing in the communication, good tips concerning Lyon. It's a great place, close to Lyon, in a green area close to the mountains. We recommend!
We had a good exchange with Alexis and Leticia and family. Their house, which is situated uphill from the village, is in a very quiet location and there are lovely views over the surrounding countryside with beautiful sunsets. The house was comfortable, clean, well equipped and has an attractive garden. Overall a very enjoyable and successful exchange.

We are a family of four:
Leticia, 36, originally from Mexico, works as an application scientist.
Alexis, also 36, is French and works as a mechanical engineer.
We have two wonderful daughters: Victoria, 6 years old, and Elena, 3 years old.
We are passionate about traveling and have had the opportunity to live in Canada for five years (in Calgary and Montreal). Leticia also spent six months in the USA. Alexis has a long history of home exchanges with his parents, having completed 17 exchanges around the world, so he is very experienced in organizing home swaps.
