Comfortable family home in scenic area of Kerry close to sea and mountains
Our home is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way in a peaceful, scenic, rural area 5km from the amenities of Tralee town and 1.5 km from Blennerville village, at the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula. There is a wide choice of restaurants and bars locally, a cinema, town park and a beautiful canal bank walk.
We have 4 double bedrooms, one en-suite and two other bathrooms. Two bedrooms are upstairs and two downstairs. We have a large, bright, fully equipped kitchen with a view of a little stream and the mountains. The large sitting room has a fireplace and tv. There is an oil-fired stove in the conservatory and plenty of space to relax and watch tv. Books and games are available.
Our home is fully wheel-chair accessible with an equipped wet room and indoor and outdoor ramps. The en-suite downstairs bedroom is very spacious and has been purpose-built with ramp access to the patio
As our adult children and our grandchild visit regularly there is a travel cot, high-chair, toys, books and games available for young children.
The large garden and outdoor patio area, with a Chimenea, is spacious and sheltered and safe for children and is an ideal place to relax or enjoy outdoor dining.
We are situated at the foot of the Sliabh Mish mountains at the start of the Kerry Camino, within minutes drive of a selection of magnificent beaches. Amenities like horseriding, fishing, hillwalking, watersports, golf and high-quality restaurants are in very close proximity. Our home is an ideal base for visiting nearby Killarney, the Dingle Peninsula, Blasket Islands and for touring the Ring of Kerry and the South Kerry region.
