Rosenheim, Germany

We are a family of 5. Our children are 16 years old (girl) and 14 years old (twins; boy, girl).

Rosenheim is a town with 60 000 inhabitants surrounded by a beautiful landscape with mountains (Alps) and lakes between Munich and Salzburg.
That's why it is famous for it's great recreational value. We are also central to many South Bavarian major sights like the castles of Ludwig II.

From our house it's only a few minutes walk into the nature (forest, meadows of river Inn), but also only a 10 mins drive to the historical city center with a lot of shops and restaurants.
Munich center is about 45 mins by train and metro, Salzburg 1 h, closest possibility to swim 10 -15 mins (small lake; public swimming pool), larger lakes (20 - 30 mins), closest mountains 20 mins

If you are interested in exploring Central Europe, Rosenheim is a great base:
Fastest direct trains to Vienna (4 h) and Venice (6 h 15 mins), good connections also to Paris and Prague (6,5 h), Berlin (7 h). Many interesting places in northern Italy also within easy reach by car: Lake Garda (3,5 h), Verona (4 h), Milan, Venice and the Mediterranean Sea (all around 5 h).
So you can have a holiday visiting more than more country from our home, if you want.

Our house (a end-terrace house) is perfect for children. We have a lot of toys and a small garden.
Our children also like to play in the courtyard in front of the house. Next to the house is an office building. On its parking the children of our neighbourhood love playing soccer, cycling or inline skating (after working hours/on weekends).

In our garden we have two terraces: one wooden facing south (with a dining table and outdoor sofa) and one stoned facing east (with a small outdoor sofa and a place to have barbecue).

A supermarket is just across the street.

Ground floor: open space with kitchen, dining area and lounge and a guest toilet
First floor: main bathroom and three children's rooms
Top floor: home office and master bedroom, second small bathroom
Basement: Laundry (washing mashine, dryer), play room, pantry, storage, workshop

Sleeping possibilities:
- 90x200 beds in the children's rooms
- kingsize bed in the parent's bedroom.

Don't worry if you don't have 3 extra beds for the children. Our kids are happy to sleep in any kind of bed or also a simple matress on the floor or a bed sofa. They are used to it because they are very travel-experienced.

We have a Grand C4 Picasso (7 seater, from 2018, automatic). We live about an hour drive both from Munich Airport, Salzburg and Innsbruck Airport.
By public transport it takes about 1,5 hours from Munich Airport.

We have childrens and adults bikes in different sizes. You can also use our Prijon kayak (1 seater) and our SUP. And of course our free broadband WIFI.

Siamo una famiglia di 5. I nostri bambini hanno 16 anni (femmina) e 14 gemelli, maschio e femmina).
Ci piace conoscere sia nuove città sia posti nella natura (montagna, mare,...).
Per l'intercambio d'estate ci piacerebbe andare a un posto non troppo lontano dal mare.

Rosenheim é una città di 60000 inhabitanti in mezzo di un paessaggio pittoresco con laghi e montagna tra Monaco di Baviera e Salisburgo. Tanti luoghi di interesse della Baviera del Sud sono vicini. Se nella vostra vacanza vi piace un mix tra natura e cultura Rosenheim é il posto giusto per voi. Si arriva nel centro di Monaco di Baviera (Marienplatz) entro 45 minuti col treno, 1 ora a Salisburgo, la montagna e laghi sono vicini a Rosenheim.

La nostra casa é situata in una zona tranquilla 10 minuti dal centro storico di Rosenheim.

La casa é perfetta per bambini, ben arredato ed attrezzato, abbiamo tanti giocatolli e un giardino piccolo.
Un supermercato é vicinissimo.
Nel pianoterra c’é la cucina, il soggiorno e un bagno per gli ospiti. Al primo piano si trovano tre stanze dei bambini e il bagno grande. Al secondo piano (sottotetto) si trovano un uffico, un bagno piccolo e la camera da letto con matrimoniale. Possiamo ospitare al massimo 6 o 7 persone. Non preoccupatevi se non avete tre letti da bambino. I nostri bimbi sono abituati a viaggare e dormono in qualsiasi tipo di letto o anche su un materazzo sul pavimento.

Abbiamo un Citroen C4 Grand Picasso (7 posti). Abitiamo un circa un’ora degli aeroporti di Monaco di Baviera, Salisburgo e Innsbruck. Con i mezzi publicci si arriva all’aeroporto di Monaco entro un’ora e mezza.
Potete usare i nostri bici, il nostro Prijon kayak (un posto), il SUP e internet gratuito (WIFI).
