We had a great experience with our exchange in Cork. We had some interactions with the family while we were preparing our vacation, all were very helpful and positive. The house is exactly as in the photos and the description on the INTERVAC website. It's spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities to spend a few good days on vacation. A well-equipped kitchen, 3 complete bathrooms and a toilet made our staying in the house very easy. As well as a large garden to enjoy the nice climate of the area, with a sauna which we didn't use. Located in a very quiet area, the center of Cork is within walking distance. It’s easy to park near the house, paying with App Cork Park. From Cork, hiring a car we’re able to visit nice places and discover the Ireland impressive nature, like Old Head, Mizzen Head, Cobh and The Spike Island… A nice house to consider if you want to explore Cork and outskirts.

We really enjoyed this exchange in Puigcerda. We loved the comfortable apartment with its spectacular views. The location was superb. We spent many happy days exploring the lakes and mountains of the region. We visited Andorra and we also spent some time in the French Pyrenees. Gloria and Jordi were fantastic Intervac hosts. They were very easy to communicate with and sent us many helpful videos and provided lots of advice on what to do in the area. They also let our house super clean. We would like to thank them for a great exchange.

This summer, we did a home exchange in Dublin, staying in a quiet and comfortable house in District 16. The house was fully equipped with all the appliances we needed for our stay. The neighbourhood is well connected to the city centre, so having a car isn’t necessary. Dublin offers a wide range of attractions, from museums like the GPO, EPIC, and Guinness Storehouse, to beautiful parks such as Phoenix Park and Marlay Park. There are also plenty of cosy pubs where you can enjoy a good meal. However, if you’d like to explore the stunning areas around Dublin, we recommend renting a car. Communication with David and Joanne was smooth and helped make the exchange a great experience.

Very constructive and pleasant pre-exchange communication. Lots of useful information and we felt well-informed. It was lovely to meet the exchange partners' daughter in London for the key exchange. Always delighted to meet the family, or any member of; helps to make the exchange more personal. The large apartment was better than described. Spacious and comfortable with added bonus of shared pool with other apartments in the complex; very useful when holidaying in Spain in the Summer. Comfortable beds and nice linen. Undercover secure parking a big bonus. Puigcerda is on the Spanish-French border so shopping took place in 2 countries! Great fun. The town has an historic centre and we really enjoyed walking "up" frequently. Train service to Barcelona was excellent for a sojourn there. So much to do in the area and 3 weeks was a good length of stay. The famous tourist "Train Jaune" is not far away. Recommend. Eating out was easy with lots of places within walking distance. Excellent kitchen facilities for home-cooking. Thank you Jordi and Gloria. Highly recommend this exchange.
